A passionate three-way affair catches fire in the summer of 1981, when young runaway “Bird” and her transgender BFF “Kin” meet “Jimmy Joe” (JJ) and they vow to love each other “all ways.”
Years later, when “JJ” is married with a pregnant young wife, “Allie,” desires are reignited in this ménage à trois love story, with an emphasis on love.
About the film
“Four-Sided” is a short film based on Elizabeth Searle’s original script, adapted from her novel. The short was co-written and directed by Vittoria Colonna, and stars Nate Borowski, Mara Reltien, Christine Renaud, and Rain Valdez. The short has screened at over 20 festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Boston, and more, and has received numerous awards and accolades.
A full-length feature film is in development with David Ball (96 Minutes, Tag) and Amy Carpenter-Scott (PitStop), producers. Rain Valdez (Lopez, Transparent) has been attached as co-producer and co-star along with Evan Ross (The Hunger Games).
